Black Brook is the stunning new album from musical siblings Deirdre Moynihan on fiddle, viola & vocals, Diarmaid on pipes & whistles and Donncha on guitars & bouzouki.
The three musicians have recorded and toured with many artists over the last few years and have distilled their many musical experiences into this wonderful 11 track album The album contains gorgeous versions of the songs Silent Oh Moyle, Aird Uí Chuain and An Raibh Tù ar an gCarraig with sumptuous string arrangements and spine tingling pipes.
There are cracking new compositions from all three musicians, thunderous sets of jigs and reels and gorgeous reflective pieces.
The album also features guest musicians Liam O’ Maonlaí and Martin Leahy.
